Description
Copy photo of a train wreck caused by a boiler explosion. Visible on the side of the engine is the number 277. Written below the image is "Addis, La. c.1950 - Boiler Explosion, [sic] A negro attendant went to sleep minding the engine, he woke in time to see the steam gauge moving rapidly higher and jumped. He was not hurt very bad. The engine was not rebuilt," and "Ed Robinson Collection [sic] -C Banbat photo a retired T&P conductor in Bunkie, La."
