This is one of two pictures of the TP Steam derrick working a dearilement in the Bowie Texas area.On the back of the picture it is written " Train Wreck July 1947 By Ann Speake"
The young person in the picture in the lower left is my brother.
It was my understanding that the TP had bigger derricks to work heavier equipment and often went to assist other railroads.
