Description
Photograph of a group of workmen around a train platform under construction. One man is inside the platform base where various equipment is visible; other men are standing to either side of the platform and holding tools. Train cars are visible on the tracks in the background. A typed form (Form 815 Rev.--2-14) is below the image and says, "The Texas & Pacific Railway Company, Office of R. J. Dean, Scale Engineer. Fairbanks 50 foot platform, 100 ton capacity type registering beam track scales with dead rails in course of erection at Gouldsboro LA April 1913."
