Description
Photograph of a train wreck in Midland, Texas. There are men posing around the wrecked engine, and Houses are visible in the background. Below the photo is a printed message also mounted on the board that reads "[sic] Engine in wreck at Midland in 1895 after cars had been cleared away. Condr. Hornberger with stock in hand. Brown standing by him." The date listed is apparently incorrect. Below the image are written "T&P #349 at Midland, Texas" and "James Milton Frame Collection / Permian Historical Society 6027.7"
