Description
In researching a photography archive for an upcoming book, I came across a picture from 1943 by the New Orleans-based photographer Eugene Delcroix, and shows T & P steam locomotive #516, with tender. It appears from the description of this equipment on your website that this picture matches the 2-10-2 configuration of the carriage. Cataloguing information suggests that the photograph was made for the 1943 Jefferson Parish Annual Review and may have been published there, but I don’t have the journal itself to verify that. Delcroix worked regularly for this publication from the mid-1930s until the mid-1960s.
