Description
Clipping of the back cover of Trains Magazine. There is a photo of T&P train #610 on the tracks. The Caption reads "En route to the site of The Great Dynamometer Test, Southern's ex-Texas & Pacific 2-10-4 is eased down 2.1 per cent toward Old Fort, N. C., by Engineer Frank Clodfelter. The Texas type, only survivor of original Lima Super-Power design, was working an Asheville-Salisbury excursion on July 29, 1977, when photographed near Andrews Geyser." Written underneath the clipping is "-Trains Feb. 1978 rear cover."
