Text on the certificate says "This certifies that ____ is entitled to ____ shares of One Hundred Dollars each in the Capital Stock of the Texas and Pacific Railway Company transferable only on the books of the said Company in person or by Attorney according to the regulations of the said Company on surrender of this Certificate. In Witness Whereof the said Company has caused this Certificate to be signed by the President and Secretary and sealed with its Corporate seal this _____." Text below the image says "T&P $100.00 Stock Certificate" and "William R. McDowell Collection T&P Vice Pres. & General Counsel."
