Description
Clipping of an article from Trains Magazine about the success of steam engines in 1977. The article details how steam engines made a resurgence during 1977, and includes a chart at the bottom of statistics for the trains and railways. A photo of four engines at the top of the page is captioned "At Birmingham, Ala., in April 1977: AFT 4449, ex-T&P 610, SR 722 and 4501. John E. Gruber photo." Written next to the clipping is "-Trains Feb. 1978 pg. 9."
