Description
Photograph of a china plate with detailed decorations around the lip and a Texas & Pacific Railway logo stamped in the center. A smaller image to the right shows a close-up view of the logo. Handwritten text below the photos says, "T&P Service Plate: 10 3/4" dia. Lamberton Scammell white with gold leaf T&P diamond logo 2 7/8" x 1 3/4" at centre. Wide border comes in 1 3/4" from edge and includes lots more gold Has wide rim stripe followed by a pinstripe followed by a band of tiny red-rimed [sic] leaf shapes. Inside that are golden floral baskets (6) filled with pink roses and tiny blue flowers alternating with 6 hanging medalions [sic] with green stones - all connected by a super-ornate chain of guilt leaves-with-berries and bows with hangs like looping banners framing everything else."
