T & P Engineer, John Notestine

I have a "Shirt Tail", John Notestine, that was an Engineer for the T & P RR. That I am looking for information on. I believe it was in his obituary in Big Springs, that states that John Notestine kept a "Log or Diary" of all of the Firemen that he ran with. Something like 150 men. Facts are sketchy on my John Notestine, Though I have tracked down his descendants. I guess I am wondering if the T & P Historians have any info on John Notestine.
