Description
T&P #1132. Diesel-hungry Missouri Pacific was placing orders for the GP7'S, 9'S and 18'S almost as soon as they arrived on the system, and many of these purchases went to the Texas & Pacific. Built in March 1959, GP-9 #1132 wears the T&P-MP hybrid scheme. It would go on to be renumbered as T&P 387, then again as MP #552 then again as MP 552 before being wrecked and retired in November 1973. / MPHS Collection
